Mossmen is a small family business specializing in roof cleaning and offering many different services. We strive to carry out exceptional work to the highest standard with experienced workers who are keen on answering all questions and attending to personal requests regarding each job and making sure our clients are happy, with a growing client base we cover both sides of the M25.

Our roof cleaning procedure

 First we inspect your roof and the tiles condition to see if it is suitable for roof cleaning. Most roofs are suitable but we always check first.
Then we gain access to your roof by roof ladders normally and use a low pressure jet wash to carefully removes all the moss and lichen that has built up on your roof.
Next, we replace any broken tiles and make sure the roof is secure.
Now we do a thorough clean-up of all the areas such as gutters and gulley's and surrounding areas without high powered industrial vacuum cleaning equipment.
Lastly, we apply a proven anti-moss and lichen deterrent that is not harmful to the environment.
Now we ask you to come and inspect the roof to see if it is to your satisfaction.

We also suggest our aftercare treatment which is an annual spraying with anti-moss and lichen solution to keep the roof clear of further regrowth.

    Due to the current coronavirus sitaution we are up to date with the governement guidelines to keep our staff and equipment safe.


    In regards to the moss and dirt that comes off the roof we cover the front driveway or any space you want covered specifically and we take it with us so you are left with a clean, safe space.

    We have a range of tools that we use for different types of jobs. For gutters we use a special hoover that cleans up all the moss and dirt.


    For roof, patios, soffits, fascias we use a high pressure jet washer which is totally safe for the tiles and roof.
